I thoroughly enjoyed this series of books. The third book in the series was my favorite. The book read really easy and flowed nicely. Once I started reading it I had a hard time putting it down. I hope that there is another book in this series. seemed to hint of one at the ending. The author sent me this book to read and review. I am glad that he did.
To me this is a must read series and a must read book.
I’ve really enjoyed this series. Martyn Marais has done a superb job with all 3 books. It certainly has everything you want in a Western, with plenty of gun fights, and great characters that you can’t help but like. A few people were a bit unsettled with the recent shoot out in the town of Wellhead. Especially after 4 people were shot dead. They didn’t care too much about the two dead outlaws from the Parker gang, but it was a bit concerning to lose the manager from the hotel, and one of the bounty hunters. The Sheriff was pretty keen to get Finnian Connolly’s funeral out of the way quickly, so he could get the men to go after the Parker gang before they got too far away. The Sheriff thought he would make quite a name for himself if he could catch the gang. Billy Parker had managed to kill Fin and get away to safety before he was killed as well. Now his gang has reduced in numbers with the recent unexpected shootings. They are blaming Mary for telling the bounty hunters of their plan to rob the Wellhead bank. So now the gang wants to go back to Wellhead an kill her. Mary is quite prepared to kill Billy, until he grabs Lucy and threatens to kill her. Now Billy has managed to take Mary hostage and wants Tom to come to the church, so they can have it out with each other. Tom doesn’t hesitate as he wants to save Mary, and he might just receive some help. I would definitely recommend this as an excellent series that is well worth reading.
Great book, really a good read. I like how the bounty hunter Tom comes to rescue Mary. And I love the elderly ladies. They are so funny. Especially when one goes in the saloon. Great read thank you Martin.
Again this book is well-written and fast-paced as the adventure of the Irish bounty hunters and their companions continues. As with the prior books, this western/mystery/adventure leaves us wanting more. Can't wait to read the next one.

This short, fast read is the third part of a serial novel, but is completely stand alone. I found it interesting and colorful, enjoying every minute of it. I will look for more in this Bounty Hunters series from Endeavour Press. It is a book and a series I will be comfortable recommending to friends and family.
